Copper Lining rosé takes 1st prize
Decanter has awarded Copper Lining’s copper rosé a place among the world’s top 20 rosés outside Provence:
“Perfumed floral ripe fruit and soft buttery barley sugar richness aromas. Continues on the palate with soft mellowed honey, beeswax, dried apricots and the fresh astringency of wild red berries. Slightly pithy green apple acidity and stony minerality contrasting with the mellowed honed fruit and delicate, perfumed white florals. Intriguing, honeyed, long saline mineral finish. Aged and mellowed with amazingly vibrant acidity. Juicy dried apricots, intense red berries.”

Absolutely beautiful. Amazing plummy ripe notes, black cherry appeal on the nose. It's really really lovely. It's got more depth and character and aromatic qualities. Ripe, fruit forward, finesse and elegance with a really lovely aroma. Absolutely awesome! Because it's Merlot it's got more chew, more roundness, more fullness of body, there's flavour but it's still desperately mouth-watering, really elegant. I think it's great! Copper Lining we LOVE the Copper Rosé 2021"
